Karin has been elected to the Council of the International Association of Colloid and Interface Scientists (IACIS) as an Ordinary Council Member. In total, the service lasts for 6 years starting from June 29th 2022. IACIS (https://www.iacis.net) is a voluntary, non-profit-making organization of individuals who are actively interested in the field of colloid and interface science. The objectives of IACIS are to promote international cooperation among colloid and interface scientists, and to encourage advancement and understanding in the field of colloid and interface science. The Association seeks to achieve these goals by sponsoring international conferences in colloid and interface science, by encouraging regional activities and by providing relevant information to its members.
