Title: Self-Assembly of Colloidal Perovskite Nanocubes: Toward the Perfect Supercrystal

Abstract: In this seminar, I will discuss our efforts to understand how colloidal lead halide perovskite nanocubes self-assemble into supercrystals. These materials attract attention because of their collective optical properties, but their self-organization is no less fascinating. Over the past two years, we have performed a series of X-ray scattering experiments to learn how these supercrystals form and how their structural order can be improved through surface chemistry. I will focus on insights from in situ and ex situ small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering studies carried out at the ForMAX beamline at MAX IV.
