Professor Yeshayahu Talmon whom has been a regular visitor at the division of Physical Chemistry for a number of decades, has been appointed Honorary Doctor by the Faculty of Science.

Professor Talmon is an internationally renowned chemist of the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. The research of Professor Talmon concerns Soft Matter and he is a specialist in cryogenic transmission electron microscopy.
