A Physical Chemistry seminar by Dr Jonathan Brewer, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, SDU, Denmark.
I will start by looking at how and if liposomes can pass the human stratum corneum. This will be elucidated using single molecule diffusion measurements and super resolution optical microscopy. Then I will talk about how different types of molecules move through the SC. This is shown using super resolution optical microscopy combined with Föster resonance energy transfer (FRET) measurements. Finally, I will present the effect of liposomes on the SC lipid packing shown by the Laurdan GP measurements.
